Using a condom is an effective way to protect you from STDs and unintended pregnancy. It should be put on during the whole sexual intercourse as the pre-ejaculate fluid can have STD germs and may rarely contain sperm to get pregnant.
- Check the expiration date;
- Make sure you wear the condom on the right way: The rim of the condom should be on the outside so it looks like a little hat, and it will unroll easily;
- Unroll the condom down the shaft of your penis all the way to your testicles;
- Leave space to collect semen: Pinch the tip of the condom and place it on the shaft of your penis. Leave sufficient space to collect semen. For uncircumcised people, it will be more comfortable to pull their foreskin back before putting on the condom;
